Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what information the site collects, why, who sees it and what your rights are.
Who We Are
This website belongs to Tzav HaLev (registered nonprofit no. 580832392). If you have any questions about this policy, you can write to us at info@tsavhalev.com.
What Information We Collect
- What you write in the contact form: your first name, last name, email address, and the subject and text of your message. You are not legally required to provide these details, but without them we will not be able to get back to you.
- Technical information: as on any website, the server logs the address of the computer that accessed it (its IP address), the page requested and the time, for security and operational purposes.
- No cookies and no tracking: the site uses no cookies and no tracking, advertising or analytics tools. The only thing stored in your browser is your choice to stop the videos on the site, and it is not sent to us.
Why We Use Your Information
We use it to reply to your message and to stay in touch with you as you asked, whether you have a question or want to arrange a visit or a bike ride, join the mechina, volunteer or donate. If you contacted us about joining the MEA Mechina, our recruitment team may open an applicant file for you and get in touch with you during the next stages of the admissions process.
We will not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we will not sell it to anyone.
Who Sees Your Information
Your message reaches our email inbox and our internal management system. Only the team members who handle messages see it.
We won't pass the information on to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
The links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn lead to external sites, which have their own privacy policies.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We will keep your information for as long as it is needed to handle your message and stay in touch with you. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your Rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Write to us at info@tsavhalev.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible, within 30 days at the latest.
Keeping Your Information Secure
Connections to the site are encrypted. Access to the information is limited to the team members who need it, and their accounts are protected by two-factor authentication. We make an effort to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
