About Tzav HaLev
Commemorating the fallen soldiers of the Duvdevan Unit and the fallen of Kibbutz Kfar Aza
Tzav HaLev was founded to turn heartbreak into action. Together with the residents of Kfar Aza, we are laying the foundations for a shared process of social and community growth.
We are bereaved families, brothers in arms and lifelong friends, along with a great many good people who see Tzav HaLev as far more than an organization. To us it is a mission and a great privilege: to act in the spirit of the fallen and to lead the way together toward a future of meaning, endeavor and ascent.
Building a shared future, turning pain into living educational initiatives.
Turning Devastation into Revival
Tzav HaLev was born of a burning desire to turn memory and legacy into educational and community revival.
At the heart of our work is the mechina, our pre-military academy, and alongside it are the Fighters' Lookout and the Bike Trail. Together they form the solid foundation from which we expand our activities and our partnerships with a wide range of organizations and people.

The Fighters' Lookout
Building a lookout overlooking the fields of the Gaza border area and the border itself. The lookout serves as an open-air classroom where members of our team lead lessons in heritage and remembrance.

Our Partners
In full partnership with Kibbutz Kfar Aza
We work in full partnership with the leadership and residents of Kfar Aza, through joint committees made up of representatives of both Tzav HaLev and the kibbutz. Together we make decisions, conceive joint projects and pave the way for raising the next generation of leaders.
Alongside the kibbutz, Tzav HaLev works with nonprofits, institutions and private donors to build partnerships, raise resources and expand its work.
